The fifth Brockham Open Gardens took place on 24 June and there was a selection of 11 gardens open around the village.
The event was well supported with over 400 people travelling from all over Surrey to view the amazing gardens on display. A record breaking figure of over £4,500 was raised towards vital work to the fabric of the Church building.
We are so grateful to the garden owners who worked incredibly hard to prepare their gardens despite the unseasonally hot weather in June - each garden was a joy to behold and they were inspirational to all visitors regardless of their level of their gardening expertise.
The event could also not take place without the dedicated support of an army of helpers from the people in the kitchen providing teas and cakes to those helping in the gardens, supervising the plant stall and setting up/dismantling everything at the start and end of the day - we are truly grateful for all your hardwork.
We are enormously grateful to the owners of the gardens for their huge generosity in agreeing to open their gardens for this event.
