Centenary Fundraising

Brockham & Buckland Guides Centenary Fundraising

We have the opportunity to join all the Guide units in the South East of England at a Centenary Camp in the New Forest from the 25th to 30th July next summer.  We will be spending this year fundraising towards the cost of the trip.  We have listed below our Fundraising Events.  Please look out for our posters and letters and help us to make the Camp available to all the Guides in our Unit.

Earlier Events

Saturday, 18th July                 Brockham and Buckland Guides raised £37 running activities at the Village Weekend.

Summer Holidays                     Becky Trodd and Sophie Hamilton raised £16 washing cars around Brockham Village.

September                               Brockham Parish Council donated £500 in response to a letter from Amy Richards

Thursday, 1st October             Camp Slide Show raised £20.23 selling refreshments.

Sunday, 4th October                Church Teas in Brockham Church Hall raised over £300 for Friends of Guiding.

Sunday, 18th October              Car Boot Sale in Brockham School playground raised £190.55

Thursday, 5th November         Games and Sale Evening at Friends of Guiding AGM raised £126.43

From November                       Christmas Cards Designed by Buckland Guides raised £209.01

Saturday, 21st November          Buckland Guides stall Christmas Market at Shop at Strood Green raised £29.50

Sunday, 13th December           Sale of Christmas Trees by Buckland Guides on Buckland Green raised £400.00

Tuesday 15th December         Christmas Cafe and Gift Wrapping Service at the   Reading Room in Buckland raised £45.43

21st and 22nd December          Brockham Guides Bag Packing at Waitrose, Dorking raised £277.59
