North Downs Primary School Head Resigns
As the new sign for North Downs Primary School is erected it is
announced that....
Mrs Jane Fairbourn will not be taking up the role of head
teacher for North Downs Primary School. In a letter to parents
Richard Prophet, chair of the temporary governing body stated that
Mrs Fairbourn will be taking a job in a newly formed school outside
of Surrey.
Mrs Jan Steel, the previously acting head teacher of the Acorns
School will be appointed as interim head teacher of North Downs
Primary School. It is hoped that a new head teacher can be
appointed for the start of the spring term.
