Plans for faster broadband in Brockham
Surrey County Council is trying to get Superfast
Broadband for everyone in our rural areas where BT Openreach have
no current plans in developing the service. This includes the
telephone exchanges Norwood Hill, Forest Green, Oakwood Hill,
Abinger, Newdigate, Dawes Green and Betchworth which covers our
area.
The County Council is funding a project to ensure
superfast broadband is accessible by all
residents.
You can find more information and fill in a short
survey at www.superfastsurrey.org.uk
Local councillor Helyn Clack, said "We need every resident
possible in the community to return the survey, if we are to have a
chance of getting the infrastructure money to put in the fibre
optic cables! Please pass this on to all your email
contacts".
