Remembrance Sunday
Sunday 8th November saw a good turn out for the
remembrance parade and was attended by the Royal British Legion,
representatives from the forces, Scout and Guide groups, members of
the parish council and Brockham residents.
The bonfire team did a wonderful job tidying up the church yard
and village green from the previous nights bonfire
celebrations.
The parade marched from the Dukes Head to the church where at
9:15 a rededication service was held for the newly restored war
memorial.
Small crosses were laid in memory of those who lost their
lives.
Afterwards a remembrance service was held in the church and then
at 11:00 the act of remembrance.
