Shop named as a regional finalist

The Shop at Strood Green has been named as a regional finalist in the Village Shop category of the Rural Retail Awards, run by the Countryside Alliance.

It is one of only three village shops in the South East to reach this level. Judging will continue until early January.  All regional winners will be invited to the House of Lords to the winners' reception, to be held at the end of March 2011, when the overall winner for each category will be announced.
