Village Offer For Land Accepted
The following statement has been released by the ELP
steering group

Great News! The village's offer to buy the land in Middle
Street has been accepted by the vendor.
This has really been a remarkable week in the
village's history; the entire community seems to have pulled
together in a really short space of time.
The offer is subject to contract; and the acceptance
subject to certain conditions. The most critical being
completion within 28 days. Consequently this is where
the hard work really begins; we need to convert all of the
fantastic pledges into cash. We appreciate that many of you
still have questions to ask and points to raise - please watch this
space, we are hoping to provide more details soon and arrange a
second meeting within the next couple of days.
Meanwhile please be prepared to write a cheque or transfer funds
into the ELP, Brockham bank account which will be
going live next week.
