The building of the annual bonfire is well underway, the bonfire boys and girls are doing a wonderful job and are busy collecting tree prunings from around the village. Residents are asked to fill the trailers where provided and not to leave out builders rubbish, concrete fence posts or grass cuttings etc.
The bonfire is on the 8th of November this year and promises to be a traditional family fun evening with spectacular fireworks, a fancy dress competition and the usual hog roast.
Last year the team raised £20,000 which was donated to local worthy causes.
