Neighbourhood watch
Dorking Rural Neighbourhood watch
Dear Co-ordinator, There has been an increase of offences involving dogs biting other people or worrying livestock. It is the owner/ person in charge of the dog/s to ensure that they are not given the opportunity to carry out such acts. This week officers apprehended poachers in the area. Thank you to everyone whose vigilance and continued liaison with police, paid off in this particular instance. A blue transit van index M667MUY has been seen in the general areas of Dorking and surround and may be linked to thefts from insecure/secure outbuildings. If you see this van, please do give us a call either on the non emergency number 0845 125 2222 or 999 if it is an emergency, with any information you have. Again Christmas is a time when people may go away for the holidays and again home security should be borne in mind. Anyone wishing security advice can contact their local beat officer or PC Bessent on 01306 676823.We would like to say a very big thank you to all those that completed and returned the questionnaires that were sent out with the last newsletter. We will continue to send them out during the course of the coming year but if anyone would like any more to hand out to others in their neighbourhood then please do not hesitate to contact your local officer. Thank you. |
