As most people are aware, Betchworth and Buckland are likely to be affected as a result of as part of the Surrey Minerals Replacement Plan.
This will most likely affect the Common Field, with sand extraction followed by use as a land fill site
The proposal that will most affect villagers in and around Brockham, and Betchworth is PMZ55.PMZ55 is the area known as the 'common field'.
Two action groups are opposing the PMZ55 proposal - 'Four Weddings and a Sandpit' and 'CAMEL'.
