Victorian Fair & Village Picnic

13 - 15 July 2007

Update: view a slideshow of the 2007 Village weekend here.

Brockham's Victorian Fair The galloping horses and Victorian Fun Fair will be returning to Brockham again this summer.

From Friday evening until Sunday afternoon you and your families can enjoy the Fun Fair and Village Picnic, accompanied by Brian Cannon's musical

entertainment and 3 local bands on Saturday 14th July, from early until late.

The evening will end with a firework display set to music. (Weather permitting).

Village Societies, Clubs and Charities all have an opportunity to boost their funds. Contact us now if you want to reserve a stall space.

Time to gather your friends, families and neighbours together, prepare your picnic, find the cool box and check your gazebo roof is still in one piece. The evening picnic goes on whatever the weather! Look out for the unique “Brockham Balloon Arch” once again. The theme this year will be “Boy Scouts”, to celebrate 100 years of the Scout Movement. There will be a prize for the Best Dressed “Patrol”, but no camp fires please. A collection will be made during Saturday evening to help toward the cost of the Insurance/Fireworks, this is again provided by Brockham Bonfire Committee’s Public Liability Cover, which attracts an annual premium of nearly £6,000.

Keep an eye on the Parish News and Village Websites for further information, importantly put the date in your diary and get your fund raising thoughts together

Please contact Doreen Bates (843041) or Simon Budd (842042) for more information.
