Volunteers from the church have received bereavement support training from Princess Alice Hospice and are running the café to support anyone in the community who has been bereaved. It’s an opportunity to connect with others who have been going through loss and who understand what you are going through.
Losing someone you have been close to turns your life upside down. You may feel confused, unhappy, angry, shocked, depressed, sad – all at the same time. You may feel okay one day and the next find yourself back to square one. Talking with someone about the person who has died, speaking openly about how you feel and how this affects your life can really help you.
Please feel free to come along – you will be made most welcome. Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided.
